Silverline - Cu 380 Ag

Silverline: Cu 380 Ag

Silverline is a unique contraceptive device that redefines the comfort and convenience of using a contraceptive method. Silverline is a small, soft, flexible Y-shaped frame with a copper wire wound around the vertical stem. Silverline requires 1/3rd dilation of cervix during insertion, in comparison to Copper T 380A.
The main difference between Silverline and other copper T intrauterine devices is the silver core that is used in the copper wire. This silver core prevents the fragmentation of the copper wire, thereby improving the performance of the device. Also, the thinner insertion tube used for Silverline results in lesser pain during insertion.

It has a shelf life of 3 years and remains effective if inserted correctly for 5 years.
